Sept 15, 2021 -- Applied Equity is pleased to announce its investment and board seat with Inex One, the expert network marketplace, which raised $3m from new and existing investors. The funds will be used for continued rapid expansion, with an emphasis on the US market. Also covered by Dagens Industri, PE Stack, KMWorld, FinSMEs and Integrity Research.

Investors Richard Thornton (former CCO and deputy CEO at Cint), Brad Brown and Ajay Gupta (both McKinsey senior partner emeriti) join the board. Other investors include former senior partners from leading consulting firms Bain, Boston Consulting Group, Oliver Wyman, McKinsey, Kearney, and private equity firms Advent International, Accent, and Triton Partners. Existing investors Curitas Ventures and angels further invest in this round.

Clients access 20+ expert networks on the Inex One platform, to arrange 1-on-1 conversations with experts from all over the world. Expert networks are reviewed for compliance and service quality, with continuous feedback loops that help them improve. Founders Josefine Vinberg and Mehdi Rejraji have a background in tech. Max Friberg and Filip Gruvstad are ex-McKinsey consultants. In addition, The Inex One Board and Advisors combine experience from some of the most sophisticated clients in the industry.

Clients such as the bank DNB reduce their expert network fees by >40%, using Inex One. "The platform productivity tools helps expert networks reduce operating costs, which translates into better economics for all parties", continues Max Friberg.

Inex One clients include top consulting firms, private equity and asset managers, and corporate strategy teams. The $1.7 Bn global market for expert network services continues growing 15% per year.
